Timo Kakko, guitar
Guitarist Timo Kakko played in the legendary 70’s blues band Chicago Overcoat so at least he is familiar to the older generation’s blues diggers. His idols are Magic Sam, Buddy Guy, Freddy King, Eddie Taylor etc.

Satu Kakko, vocals, percussions
Vocals and consonants or in other words Elke Q (Satu Kakko) has been diggin’ “black” singers for a guite long time (Bessie Smith, Magic Sam etc.), so something must of catched along during the journey. By the way, Elke Q performed for the first time at the Rauma’s Seurahuone in 1980 during the Chicago Overcoat’s farewell concert. She sang the song
Got My Mojo Working with Pepe Ahlqvist.

Esko Mikkola, bass
A long-time blues enthusiast, started diggin’ the blues in the mid-1980’s when blues music had become highly popular in the Helsinki area and blues bands were playing frequently at clubs there. Mikkola was originally a classically trained guitarist but later became infatuated with the electric guitar. He has played and sung in bands ever since he got his first electric guitar. In 1998 he bought his first electric bass and started playing bass in various line-ups. Mikkola has played with such musicians as Sonny Boy Magnusson and Black River Bluesman. Nowadays he also plays bass and sings in a three-man band called Famous Boogiemen.

Kenneth Oiling, drums
He grew up with rhythm music. As a schoolboy he of course listened to the "must listen" bands like Eppu Normaali and all the other Finnish rock bands. In the 80's he played
rock in a band called Aino, and since then he has played in different kinds of groups from
pop to jazz all the way to Big Band music. Perfect timing and a tight shuffle mixed with
brilliant sense of style make this modest gentleman absolutely worth listening.
